#1 Beautiful views along the way and on site
Beautiful green pastures and blue sky’s pave the way to this home away from home. Enjoy the view but keep an eye out for deer. Yes there are plenty of deer to be viewed on your drive and even upon arrival. We viewed several deer right outside the front of the home and caught some fun footage of them wandering the beautiful outdoors. The property boasts 5 acres of trees, a BBQ, large patio space, including two balcony’s and lots of outdoor lounge seating.
#2 No shortage of entertainment
The house is furnished with no shortage of amenities to keep your party busy all vacation long. Walk in and venture to your left for a nook with a pool table that transforms into a ping pong table, a couple chairs to lounge in, a few games and a television to stream while you play. There is a giant floor checker board and downstairs in the finished “basement” area there is even a working ski ball machine.
#3 Indoor Pool
The hero feature of the home is of course the indoor pool in the center of the living of everything. There is a baja shelf where you can lounge. For a small fee you can have it heated, but I would recommend visiting during the warmer months. We stayed in January and the water was a bit chilly for my taste. Nothing a little alcohol warm-up wouldn’t cure and little ones usually don’t mind cool water.
When you arrive the fence around the pool is already in place, which I would recommend keeping up during your stay for safety. The tile gets a little slippery, but if you wear grip slippers or shoes you will be fine. We will definitely be returning during the summer time to take advantage of the pool a some more. The fantastic bonus feature is the app-controlled water fall. It add to the atmosphere and makes for great photo ops.
#4 Comfortable sleep space and facilities for all
If you have a large group like we did this is the perfect rental. The main floor is complete with 4 bedrooms containing 5 beds. And the basement has 3 beds with trundles below (making 6 in total). There is also a sofa bed in the living room that we did not use, but it is another option for sleeping. Two of the bedrooms have their own restrooms complete with showers and the master bedroom also has a amazing tub with a great view. The basement also has a restroom with shower and a laundry room. This is rare for a vacation rental and was a pleasant bonus for our group.
#5 Anything you need at your fingertips
As I mentioned, you will not want to leave the property and you don’t have to. What we didn’t bring we used Instacart to order and have delivered to the house. The nearest store was only 20 minutes away, but it was much more convenient to just have it delivered. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishware, cookware, drink-ware and even a table top ice maker which came in handy for keeping our drinks cold. The fridge was quite large so we never ran out of space.
